SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Captain Waiter and within the limits of established Policies and Procedures and manual, provides courteous and efficient service of food and beverage to the members and guests.
A. STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
1. Presents Menu to guests, suggests food and beverage, and answers questions regarding the menu and other resort general information.
2. Places order(s) and serves the same with proper sequence of service and timing
3. Clears the table and delivers chinaware, flatware and glassware to the stewarding area.
4. Resets tables.
5. Rectifies tables according to the number of guests.
6. Makes all necessary preparation for meals served for all meal periods, by performing such duties as mise-en-place, etc.
7. Wipes and polishes flatware, chinaware and glassware.
8. Conducts periodic equipment inventory.
9. Attends daily briefing, general staff meetings, in-house training
10. Checks pantry and linen supplies and requests pantry supplies as required.
11. Ensures that the Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures are observed and followed.
12. Ensures quality service and customer relations.
13. To fulfill multi-functions as designated and any other assignments or responsibilities deemed reasonable and necessary by the Outlet Manager and Captain Waiter.
14. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by Management.
Educational Degree – completion of at least 2 years in College or vocational/ technical course;
BS HRM Degree is an advantage
Working Experience – at least 1 year working experience in a fine dining restaurant
Trainings / Seminars Requirement – Customer Service, Food handling Trainings
Skills – verbal facility in Basic English, good interpersonal skills, pleasing personality
