FRONT OFFICE ASSOCIATE
"The Oriental Hotels and Resorts - Legazpi" is now looking for qualified applicants who can fill in the position Front Office Associate.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Reports directly to the Front Office Supervisor, the job occupant is responsible for the efficient operation of the Front Desk Reception and Business Center by providing close supervision, participation and inter/intra-coordination with all concerned.
A. STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
- Updates and familiarizes herself on different rooms, categories, configuration and their corresponding rates, contracted rates and their validity.
- Reviews assigned rooms according to guest requirements.
- Reviews daily guest arrival and departure list.
- Determines room status regularly.
- Receives and assists VIP guests in registration and checking in.
- Attends to guest inquiries and/or refers such complaints to the concerned departments.
- Resolves guest complaints on room assignment and room bills.
- Elevates problematic and operational irregularities to Front Office Manager.
- Plans and implements on staff duty assignments.
- Evaluates the performance of subordinates. Provides employee counseling and guidance.
- Supervises the subordinates in the daily preparation of various reports and job assignment when working overnight shift.
- Enforces and implements the Hotel’s existing policies and required standards.
- Performs related functions as may be assigned by the Front Office Manager from time to time.
B. BASIC RELATIONSHIP:
- Reports to the Front Office Supervisor.
